The Old Dairy
Rural retreat for two in the Shropshire countryside.
Once a milking shed - The Old Dairy has been lovingly converted in the summer of 2019 into a one bedroom, self-contained, tucked away holiday space. Original oak trusses span the living space and the very comfortable 5' foot bed is raised up into the roof space. Below is a shower room with hand made tiles from a local Shropshire potter.
Underfloor heating and a wood burning stove with logs supplied mean the Old Dairy is both cosy and romantic and makes a perfect, self-catering retreat for 2 people.
I live next door in Dovecote Barn, however, The Old Dairy is a completely self-contained wing of our home. It has its own entrance and the front door key can be accessed via a key safe.
2 night minimum stay in The Old Dairy - £95 a night.
If you would like to book for longer - some people have come for a month or more , you are welcome to share my washing machine, dryer and freezer in my utility room. The Old Dairy opens into the utility room - large yellow room in images below.
There is also an electric oven in the utility room.
